Bette Mae (Suddreth) Schwindt, 93, of Scottsbluff, who was in hospice care for seven months, passed away peacefully in her Scottsbluff home May 20th, 2017 with family by her side. Bette was born in Bayard, NE April 27th, 1924 to Fred and Vonnie Suddreth and married Albert "Smitty" Schwindt on December 23, 1945 who preceded her in death. Long known for her positive outlook on life and her sense of humor, Bette believed in the hope of everlasting life on Jehovah's paradise earth.
She is survived by Stacy Overgaard (son Jesse), Pat (Steve) Williams (daughter Susan (Lucas) Rains and son Matt Williams), Rusty Schwindt (son Cameron (Melissa) Schwindt), and Les (Sean Hildenbrand) Schwindt (son Seth and daughter Melissa). Great-grandsons Carter and Emmett Rains (Susan) and Kolby Clark (Cameron), her sister Midge Jacobs and several nieces and nephews.
