Todd Eugene Freeburg, 60, of Bridgeport, passed away Thursday, Feb 27, 2020 at the Medical Center of The Rockies in Loveland, CO. His funeral service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the ACTS United Pentecostal Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Harold Park, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Chimney Rock Cemetery in Bayard. Viewing will be one hour prior to service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are respectfully requested in care of the family to be designated at a later date. Online condolences may be made by viewing Todd’s memorial page at Bridgman Funeral Home in Scottsbluff is entrusted with arrangements.

Todd was born on May 30, 1959 in Bridgeport, NE, the second of four sons to Russell and Beulah (Hinman) Freeburg. Todd grew up in Dalton, NE, graduating from Dalton High School 1978, and graduated from WNCC with a degree in Building Construction in 1980. Todd lived to serve God. His ultimate goal was to worship Jesus throughout eternity which was evident by his last Facebook post, “I don't know what you came to do but I came to praise the Lord”. The most important thing in his life was Jesus and His word. Many times Todd would bait someone into discussion concerning truth, as he was extremely cunning into getting out the Acts 2:38 plan of salvation. One of his favorite things to ask was “where is that in the Bible”, so if anyone wanted to talk theology they better be on their toes.

Todd was a certified jail minister and volunteered to preach the gospel as a Chaplain to those behind bars, this was the heartbeat of his life. Todd will never be judged concerning riches as he often said “you brought nothing into this world and you can take nothing with you”. Todd was dad to 3 beautiful children and 6 gorgeous grandchildren. He enjoyed family gatherings and attending grandchildren's events. He attended Acts UPC church in Scottsbluff and a member of the Son's of the Legion in Dalton. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing, photography, bee keeping, coin collecting, wood working, and worked as a machinist for over 30 years.

Todd is survived by his parents, Russell and Beulah Freeburg of Torrington, WY; son Eric (Moriama) Freeburg and children Lorelei and Skylar Heineman of Scottsbluff; daughters Crystal (Nathan) Edmunds and children Haley and Wyatt of Bayard, and Connie Kabugo and children Sean and Jonathan of Lincoln; brothers Leonard (Lori) of Torrington, WY, Ward (Cheryl) of Dalton, NE and Gary (Denise) Johnstown, CO; step-children Patricia, Alsey, and Lance of CO; bother in Christ, Harold Park; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and friends.

He was proceeded in death by his second wife Peggy Freeburg.
