Obituary for Roseline J Grover (Cross)

On January 12, 2022, Roseline J. Grover (Cross), 83, was called home by the love that embraces us all, and though our hearts are filled with sorrow, we know her soul is well in the hands of our Creator. The family invites you to join us in saying our goodbyes as Roseline passes into the Sky world, the heaven which we all hope to call home someday at her visitation on Wednesday and Thursday, Jan 19-20, 2022 from 4-7pm at Bridgman Funeral Home in Scottsbluff. A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church with private burial following at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery where she will be placed beside her loving husband. The family respectfully requests that memorials in Roseline’s honor be made in care of her family to be designated at a later time. Online condolences may be made by viewing her memorial page at www.bridgmanfuneralhome.com.
Roseline was born December 6, 1938, in Kyle, South Dakota but built her life with her family in Minatare, NE. One of six children, she was born to Thomas Cross and Susie Red-Eyes.
Roseline is survived by her children Sue Grasmick (Haffner) Roberta Haffner Kaiser, Gerald (Jeanne) Haffner, Janelle Haffner, James (Alana) Haffner, Jr., and Johnny Haffner. She leaves behind 20 grandchildren and was blessed to be a great-grandmother to 18 great-grands, not to mention the many children she called and loved as her own. She will be dearly missed by her sisters Marie Loafer and Loretta Hawk, countless nieces and nephews, and long-time friends.
Her parents, several siblings, and husband Leroy Grover, who has been patiently waiting to be reunited with his love, all preceded her in death.
