Obituary for Regina Kayleen Collopy (Germany)
Regina ‘Kay’ Collopy passed away April 11, 2021 at Regional West Medical Center, surrounded by members of her loving family. Memorial services will be held at 1:pm on Saturday May 22, 2021 at First Church of God in Scottsbluff, NE. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Summit Christian College. The second of five children, Kay was born January 7, 1933 in Wichita, Kansas to Reverend Jeff and Viola Germany. She married William ‘Bill’ Collopy on August 13, 1950, and to that union were born three children. Throughout their 55 years of marriage, they lived in many beautiful places, including Kansas, Nebraska, Texas and California. Bill preceded her in death in January 2006 in Scottsbluff.
Much loved, and always remembered, Kay is survived by her children, Brenda Momper of Scottsbluff, Brad (Aggie) Collopy of Gering, and Berni (Kirk Meadows) Collopy of Aurora, Colorado, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, sister Shirley Rudman of Texas, sister-in-law Beverly Germany of Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
