Obituary for Ramon Pedroza

Ramon Pedroza, 71, Scottsbluff went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, in Fort Collins, CO after a fight with cancer. There will be a Rosary Service on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Scottsbluff with Father Joseph Thambi officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Ramon’s honor be made in care of the church. Ramon was born in Guanajuato, Mexico on January 21, 1950, Domitila and Ramon Pedroza. He married Maria Elena (Ayala) on September 27, 1975, in Mitchell, Nebraska. This union was blessed with three children
Ramon started his career working for a farmer. He then worked for Stanko packing and Packerland packing for over 25 years. Along with working his regular job he had his own life stock on his farm. After retiring and still maintaining his small farm he had other adventures like owning El Molcajete restaurant and helping his kids in their small businesses. He was a faithful man putting God first, family second, and work last. He was a hard-working man he loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and his extended family. His past times were always spent with his grandchildren or watching soccer.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Elena; children Elizabeth (Arturo) Martinez of Evans, CO, Carlos (Jamie) Pedroza of Scottsbluff, NE, and Marco (Karmin) Pedroza of Lincoln NE; and grandchildren Bryana, Lexy, Charlie, Harlie, Ty, Santana, and Baylor.
He was preceded in death by his mother Domitila Rocha, father Ramon Pedroza, brother Trinidad Pedroza, and sister Otilia Munoz.
