Paul Eugene Enright, 85, of Gering, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Monument Care and Rehab in Scottsbluff. Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date. It is respectfully requested that memorials in Paul’s honor be made in care of the Gering Fire Department, Regional West Hospice, or Emmanuel Congregational Church. Paul Enright was born in Alliance, Nebraska, on August 27, 1937, to Margaret (Lineback) and Russell Enright. During his early years, he was raised on his grandparents’ ranch near Ellsworth, Nebraska, before moving to California with his mother and stepfather, Margaret and Robert Huddle.
Paul married Joyce Bledsoe on December 8, 1978, in Lincoln City, OR, and she passed away on October 12, 2005. He married Sharon (Hamburger) Lineback on August 21, 2010, in Salem, Oregon, and they made their home in Gering, NE.
Paul is survived by his wife, Sharon; brothers: Randall (Ming Jie) of California, Russell of Colorado, Jack (Lynda) of Gering, NE; stepdaughter Robin (Tim) Stiles of Idaho; stepsons: Keith (Sherri) Jones of Washington, Steve (Cheryl) Jones of Oregon, Duane McColley of Oregon, Vince McColley of Oregon; 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Margaret and Robert Huddle; sister, Shirley Johnson; first wife, Joyce Enright; grandparents, Paul and Ocia Lineback; grandson, Ryan McColley.
