Obituary for Patricia Marie "Tricia" Hall (Reifschneider)
Patricia “Trish” Marie Hall, 60, of Mitchell, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023, with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Her Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm on Friday, May 12, 2023, at the Weborg 21 Centre in Gering, with Pastor Matt Hebbert officiating. It is respectfully requested that in lieu of any flowers, memorials in Patricia’s honor be made in care of her grandchildren Brant and Reece Hopkins. Trish was born on November 26, 1962 to Charles “Charlie” and Odelia “Dee” (Henkel) Reifschneider in Scottsbluff, NE. Residing in Gering most of her childhood, she attended Northfield Elementary and Gering High School, graduating with the class of 1981. She was baptized and confirmed in Salem Congregational Church.
Trish’s love for horses began at a young age, participating in events at The Saddle Club with her mother and father, brother, Rod, and sister, Pam. She carried that love with her throughout her life and was working on instilling it in her littlest of family members.
In November of 1992, Trish and her former husband, Jay Steinle, welcomed their daughter, Paige Logan. Anyone who knew Trish, knew Paige was her greatest joy and that their inseparable bond was truly one of a kind.
In May of 2015, Trish re-married the love of her life, Brad Hall, in a beautiful back yard ceremony at their home. Together, they continued to grow their love for horses and the western way of life, participating in events from ranch rodeos to barrel racing. Trish and Brad gained new titles as “Grammy and Peepaw” when they welcomed their grandson, Brant Charles in 2021 a followed by their granddaughter, Reece Kennedy in 2023. These two were Grammy’s heart and soul and she loved them beyond measure. Their mommy will make sure that Grammy lives in their hearts forever.
Trish is survived by her husband, Brad, daughter, Paige (Leander) Hopkins; grandson Brant Charles & granddaughter Reece Kennedy; bonus mom of 41 years, Doris Reifschneider; sister Pam (TJ) of Kearney, NE; nephews Garrett (Tristan) Martin of Ord, NE and Ross (Brea) Martin of Holdrege, NE; great nieces and nephews, Beckett, Amelia, Ryker, and Maverick along with many cousins and extended family members.
Preceding her in death are her mother, Dee, father, Charlie, and brother, Rodney; paternal Grandparents, Carl & Marie Reifschneider, maternal grandparents David & Pauline Henkel, and cousin Eric Reifschneider.
