Pamela Andreas-Stover, 63, of Scottsbluff, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, at UC Health Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado. A celebration of life will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Zion Evangelical Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Andrew Griess officiating. The service will be livestreamed on Bridgman Funeral Home and Cremation Service Facebook page. A memorial may be made to the Panhandle Humane Society. Pamela Dawn Andreas-Stover was born January 31, 1958, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Challen Dean and Geraldine (Spreier) Andreas. Pam grew up on a farm in Mitchell Valley. She went to Mitchell Valley School from kindergarten through eighth grade.

She excelled in softball and volleyball at a very young age. During her years at Mitchell High School, she was an outstanding volleyball athlete from 1972 through 1974. She was on the first State Women Championship Volleyball Team in Nebraska from Mitchell High School. She played on a traveling softball team, the Hansen Hurricanes, as the pitcher and first baseman.

Pam and her Dad loved playing catch and her learning how to pitch. She was her Dad’s hired man - the boy he never had, helping him irrigate at a young age. She loved supporting her kids in all of their sporting events. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren.

She married Mike Stover on December 1, 2005, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mike spoiled her rotten, she was loved by him more than words can say.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Stover; daughters, Kellie (Steve) Cox, and Amy Mitchell; son, Dustin (Joy) Mitchell; mother, Geraldine Andreas; sisters, Kimberly (Bruce) Lyons, and Shallene Green; grandchildren, Harper Joy Mitchell, Peytan and Christian Teets, and Challeni and Jayden Riddle; son-in-law, Ray Riddle; nieces, Lindsey (Trev), Ella Johnson, Andrea (Tim), Maverick Gross, and Kay Anna Green; nephews, Greg (Sonia), and Jacob Green; and aunt, Judy Spreier.

She was preceded in heaven by her father, Challen Andreas; grandparents, Fred and Pauline Andreas, and Alex and Marie Spreier; and aunt, Ione McHale Pierce.

Mike and family, Beautiful ceremonial for Pam today. Three memories come to mind when I think of Pam. When we were first introduced as new members to the Boat Club Pam was the first to welcome us as new members and offered to help do anything she could to help us enjoy the club. Another memory was Just last summer at the 4th of July picnic where she showed great caring and kindness. A lady was having some trouble getting into my horse drawn carriage and was about to give up. Pam was close by visiting, saw the dilemma and immediately stopped what she was doing, asked a couple young men to assist in getting the lady in the carriage. The lady enjoyed a great memory thanks to Pam's carrying and helpful attitude. Both you and Pam have contributed greatly to the boat club over the years that have benefited all members but perhaps the greatest contribution that I am aware of is beatification and maintenance of the children's play ground. It is so heart warming to drive by and see the young children playing in a nice and safe place. That would not been possibly without your and Pam's carrying. Pam, will be greatly missed. Doris and I continue to be thankful for having knowing Pam and know she is now at peace.

My dearest Pam... where do I start?! You were my work mom at Regional West Medical Centers Billing Department. As a fellow single mom you immediately took me under your wing, but in such a way that I never felt like a charity case, but instead a celebrated young mom that just needed to be brought alongside & shown the ropes. You would share your lunch with me making it seem like I was doing you a favor so you wouldn't have to 'waste'. You encouraged me to never give up & follow my dreams & never sell myself short. When I came home to visit you were like a proud momma to see me glowing & thriving. You were so very unique, beautiful & a positively radiant spirit. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to have known you & the true blessings you were in my life! My heart is broken at the thought of a world without you in it, but I know I will see you again someday. Until then, watch over us 💜

Mike and family, I am so saddened to hear of Pam’s “going home”. Sad for us but happy for her since I know she’s with Jesus! I feel so blessed to have known this amazing woman! She had such a fun loving and unique personality! Always giving of herself with a smile and fun little quirk! Prayers that you all receive comfort from your amazing memories and I know you will have them because Pam created them with everyone she knew! Hugs Mike and thank you for sharing her with us!
