Obituary for Mary Lou Campbell (Croft)
Mary Lou Campbell (Croft), 94, died in her home August 14, 2022. Her memorial service will be held at 11am on Friday, August 19, 2022, at Mitchell Berean Church. She was born in Kearney, NE March 4, 1928, to Ray and Mary Croft (Lance). Prior to her retirement, she had spent the majority of her life employed by Kansas-Nebraska Natural Gas (which later became KN Energy and later still became Kinder Morgan.) She began her career as a secretary in the Kansas Nebraska office in Morrill, NE. She later worked as a regional cashier. It was during this time that she became affectionately known as “Mamma Lou” by personal in KN energy offices spread across Nebraska, Colorado, and Wyoming.
She was preceded in death by both parents, brother Jack, and ex-husband Jack.
She is survived by her sons Thomas and Steven, daughter in law Theresa, granddaughters Jennifer and Sarah, great granddaughter Breanna, as well as scores of friends who knew her as “Grandma.”
