Obituary for Linda Kay Swartzkopf (Martin)

With profound sadness we announce Linda had finished her walk in life on October 19th, our loving wife, daughter, sister and friend to all whose lives she touched will be deeply missed.
Born in Scottsbluff 59 years ago to Don and Shirley Martin, the youngest of five, the apple of her Daddy’s eye.
Of all the people she touched her most proud achievement in life was marrying Stace Swartzkopf 39 Years ago, who supported her in all her glory, in her heyday and lovingly supported her during their last days together.
She had a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important – the simplicity of living a life with those you love.
Linda leaves behind her husband, brothers Dave (Jerlyn), Steve (Desira), Robert (Sue) Martin; remarkable in-laws Bob and Deanna Swartzkopf, Carree (Erick) Weitzel, Gladys Edgar, fur babies Snoopy and Charlie; ten nieces and nephews; best friends and supporters in life Lori, Bonnie, and Terri.
Greeting Linda in Heaven are her parents, sister Ruth Roth, grandparents, fur babies Jordan and Sam
Friends are invited to share their memories of Linda with her family at Monument Bible Church in Scottsbluff on Monday October 25th at 11 am. The funeral will be livestreamed on Bridgman Funeral Home Facebook page. Interment will follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Gering. Memorials will be given to the Panhandle Humane Society and Colorado Cocker Spaniel Rescue. Online condolences may be made by viewing Linda’s memorial page at www.bridgmanfuneralhome.com.
