Obituary for Lillian Lucille Grimm (Barker)
Lillian Lucille Grimm as a loving and dear mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away suddenly at age 83 at Chadron Community Hospital on March 6, 2022 surrounded by family. Graveside services will be held later date. An announcement will be posted, and all are welcome to attend. Lillian was born on September 26, 1938, to Clayton and Effie Barker.
Lillian Loved gardening (favorite flower was Lilies), listening to music and dancing (especially the twist), singing silly songs, and putting puzzles together. She loved watching western movies and television shows with her favorite fellers in them.
Lillian’s family and friends will always remember her as a very loving, caring and kind person.
Lillian is survived by her brother Clayton aka Jr (Ellen) Barker of Crawford, NE; sister Carol of CO; children David Grimm Douglas, WY, Darla Grimm of Alliance, NE, Darrel (Joyce) Grimm of Chadron, NE and Diana (Mark) Etzel of Gillette, WY; 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Lillian is preceded in death by her parents Clayton and Effie Barker, aunt Viola Rising, sister Beulah (BEA) Semroska and former husband Frank Grimm, Jr.
