Obituary for Larry J Fibelstad

Larry Fibelstad, 83, of Minatare, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at his home. His memorial dinner and celebration will be held in his honor on March 12, 2022, from 1-3 PM at the Bayard Fire Hall 544 Main St Bayard NE. Friends and family are welcome to come celebrate his life. Larry Fibelstad was born in Albert Lea, MN on June 12, 1938. He passed peacefully at his home on February 22, 2022, surrounded by his family. Larry for most of his career was an over the road truck driver, he was also an electrician. Up until his illness he drove semi-trucks and was known by the CB handle “T-Bone” after his fondness for the steak. He loved to talk on the CB and take his wife on hauls with him, he was at home in an 18-wheeler. His favorite saying was “Safe journey good buddy”. He will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Arloue Fibelstad; daughter Sherry Fibelstad, son Arlowe Fibelstad, son John Fibelstad, and daughter Christina Scott; brother Kenny Legrierd; grandchildren Danyel Rein, Kevin Cline, Alicia Fibelstad, Katie Chandler and Kimberly Scott; great-grandchildren Nicholas and Marissa Rein, Karlee and Britlee Franco, and Jaxon Scott.
He was preceded in death by brother Duane Fibelstad, mother Florence Rundquist, and granddaughter Kristin Cline.
