Obituary for Kenneth Alan Fanning

Kenneth Alan Fanning passed away April 28, 2022, at Morrill County Hospital in Bridgeport, NE. Cremation has taken place. A private ceremony to celebrate Ken's life will be held at a later date. He was born June 28, 1957, in Fort Collins, CO., to Richard and Donna Fanning. He graduated from Bayard High School in 1975. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1986 and served as a Track Vehicle Mechanic until 1990. Much of his time in the military was served in Germany. He was an avid outdoorsman: enjoying hunting, fishing, and hunting for Native American artifacts.
He is survived by his parents Richard Fanning of Atwood, Kansas and Donna Fanning of Sutherland, NE; brother David (Carla) Fanning of Bayard; sisters Karen (Kelly) Wyatt of Burley, Idaho and Allison (Dan) Huebner of Hershey, NE.; 14 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews; special friends: Dan Abel, Dar Pannis, Dennis VanBuren, and Keith Williams.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Robert; sister Deb Bockus, niece April Doudney and grandmother Esther Novacek.
