Jim Tygart, 55, of Scottsbluff, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021, at his home. Cremation has taken place. His memorial service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, Nov 3, 2021, at Bridgman Funeral Home in Scottsbluff with Pastor Rick Reisig officiating. Services will be livestreamed on Bridgman Funeral Home Facebook Page. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of any flowers, memorials in Jim’s honor be made in care of the Veteran’s Fund. James “Jim” L. Tygart was born in Denver, CO September 1, 1966. He attended high school in Denver and joined the Marines after graduating.
Jim was an avid outdoorsman that loved camping, fishing, and hiking. He loved to share his knowledge of outdoor survival with his kids and anyone who would listen. He loved serving his community as a plumber and took extreme pride in his work.
Jim is survived by his mom, Mary Jo Tygart, his sisters Karen Tygart, Kelly Moschetti (Micky). His children, James Tygart Jr (Brianna), Charlene Tygart, Kimberly Tygart (Tyler), Abbigail Tygart and Liam Tygart. He is also survived by many cousins, as well as nieces, a nephew, and his grandchildren.
Jim is preceded in death by his dad David (Dave) Tygart.
