Jacob Reinald Foos, 87, of Scottsbluff passed away Tuesday April 27, 2021 at Heritage Care Center in Gering. Cremation has taken place at Bridgman Funeral Home and Crematory with burial at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Memorial services are pending. Jacob was born January 17, 1934 in Lyman to John and Katherine (Rein) Foos. He was the oldest of 3 sons. Jacob married Elsie Sell on June 3, 1956. To this union 2 sons were born. David and Rodney.
Jacob was in the United States Army during the Korean conflict and was very proud to have served his country. Real Estate was his passion and his life. In the early days he enjoyed improving properties and neighborhoods. He collected vintage tractors and restored many of them. Some, he generously donated to the Gering Farm and Ranch Museum. He was a member of Zion Evangelical Church.
He is survived by his loving wife Elsie, sons David (Dorene) Foos, of Tyler Texas and Rodney Foos of Chandler Arizona, grandson Brandon (Marcy) Foos and two great grandchildren Karsyn and Bentley Foos of Windsor Colorado, brother Alvin (Betty) Foos of Mitchell and numerous extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Johnny Foos.
