Obituary for Edna Sylvia Aylward
Edna and her twin brother Keith were born on December 17, 1930 in Hot Springs, SD to parents Loyd & Sylvia Blessing. They joined siblings Hugh, Dale, Blanche, Ruby, and Perry at home. Edna attended Duck Creek School near Ardmore, SD and later in Hot Springs, SD.
When Edna was 18, she met and married the love of her life, John Aylward in Crawford, NE in 1949. From this union, three children were born, Michael, Vicky Lynn (Frahm), and Patrick. Edna dedicated her life to her family and her faith.
Preceding Edna in death were her parents Loyd & Sylvia Blessing; husband John Aylward; children; siblings and step-father Bill Michaels.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law Debra McCullough; granddaughters Stacy Koob (Doug), Corrin Aylward, Michelle Palmer (Robert); grandson Robert Frahm Jr.; great grandchildren Taylor Hoffman, Jaydon Sandoz, Riley Sandoz, Brayden Segura, and Johnathan Palmer.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the YMCA Trails West Camp located behind Riverside Zoo in Scottsbluff, NE at 1 pm.
