Clayton “C.R.” Eppard, 43, of Sioux Falls, SD passed away July 27th while traveling home from a family reunion in Bailey, CO. A public celebration of life will be held at Second Reformed Church in Lennox, SD on Thursday, August 4th from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. C.R. was born on September 25th, 1978 in Sioux Falls. Growing up in Lennox, he was always an active athlete and student. C.R. graduated from Lennox High School and was also an alumnus of Black Hills State University in Spearfish, SD.
A longtime employee of FM Acoustical Tile, Inc, C.R.’s calming presence and hard-working mindset endured him to many. Nobody will ever forget his gorgeous three-point shot, or his winning attitude on the football field, but most of all he will be remembered as a loyal son, brother, friend and teammate who will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
C.R. is survived by his parents Rick and Joanne Eppard of Gold Canyon, AZ; sister Alissa and wife Lola of Fargo, ND; and brother Nick of Denver, CO. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Clarence “C.R.” and Violet Eppard, Gordon and Marjorie Palmquist; and Uncles John and Clate Palmquist.
