We visited Carol in Gering every few years when in Nebraska for family reunions. It was always fun to see her, catch up on family doings, and laugh over past adventures. A major one was the summer of 1971 when Carol, Jim, Crystal and Devin lived out of a small trailer in the California mountains while helping us build a cabin at Graniteville. My deepest condolences to the entire family. Randy Cape

We were so sorry to hear the news about Carol and our condolences to all of the family. Her humor and warmth were contagious, and she was always ready with a smile or laugh, or to make someone feel loved and welcomed. She will be sorely missed by all of us. With love and deepest sympathy from Marge and Cheryl Cape
