Barb was born September 14, 1938 (with her twin Bonnie) in Scottsbluff, NE to Jack Sell, Sr., and Ruby (Inman) Sell. Barb attended Scottsbluff Public Schools graduating with the class of 1956. On November 18, 1956, she married the love of her life Larry R. Kilthau and was blessed with four children. Barb loved her family dearly always wanting the best for them. Larry and Barb farmed all their life and Barb also worked for First State Bank, Dr. Carl Frank and most recently, Wal-Mart.
Barb was a very loving, kind, caring woman of God with a big heart. She was a Mom to many of her Wal-Mart Associates as well. She also loved visiting Deadwood to meet up with all her friends. Barb and Larry made the trips together until Larry’s passing and then she went with her lifelong friend, Maryann Ott. She was the GREATEST Mom/Grandma you could have asked for and will be greatly missed. Barb was a member of Salem Congregation Church.
Barb is survived by her children, daughter Wendy (Jack) Aden; sons Jeff (Andrea), Bryan (Pam), Brent (Jill) Kilthau; brother Ron (Jan) Sell; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband Larry R. Kilthau; twin sister Bonnie Kihlthau; brothers Jack, Jr. and Donald Sell and great grandson Brayden.
A special thank you to all the staff at Morrill County Community Hospital in Bridgeport for the exceptional care of our Mother.
